West Cork / Kerry

From Kinsale- the Gourmet Capital of Ireland, through West Cork country - the home of artisan food, to Waterville in County Kerry - the hub for the newly awarded gold star 'Dark Sky Reserve' , to Killarney - the Tourist Capital of Ireland with it's stunning mountain lakes, monasteries, National Park, traditional singing and the incredible Irish dance performance - Celtic Steps. On to the rugged Slea Head and seaside fishing town of Dingle, and back through the heart of North Cork, to the historic village of Churchtown (c. 1650) described as "the most beautiful place in the world" by philosopher and founder of the Berkeley Colleges in America, Archbishop George Berkeley.  This is six days of beauty, of contrast, from rugged seashore to rich farmland, with music and dance, giving you the true sense of Ireland over thousands of years.
